A couple dedicated SPJers called me at home Sunday night with a convincing argument: This blog's name and imagery were more offensive than amusing. And it was distracting from what I'm trying to do. (Not that they agreed with what I'm trying to do, they were just saying...)
I meant to offend no one. But journalists dish it out, so they got to take it. They hit me with dispassionate and compelling criticism, and I see their point. All apologies.
